Henry J Lyons, Ireland’s largest architectural practice, reported a marginal revenue increase to €30.66m in 2024, following the previous year’s sharp 18% drop linked to Dublin’s office market slowdown. Despite a modest pre-tax profit of just €478, directors’ remuneration rose slightly to €2.93m, driven mainly by higher pension contributions.

The firm cut staff numbers by 14%, bringing costs down by €1m, while also absorbing and divesting subsidiaries as part of wider restructuring. Cash reserves fell to €5.8m from €9.48m. High-profile projects such as Clery’s Quarter, Central Bank HQ and Google’s Boland Mills campus underscore its continued role in shaping Dublin’s skyline, even as recent planning rejections highlight challenges ahead.
