Fuinneamh Workshop Architects unveils Ireland’s first public rammed-earth structure

Fuinneamh Workshop Architects has completed Den Talamh, a sustainable events shelter in Cork’s Tramore Valley Park. Built with rammed earth, timber, and thatch, the eco-conscious structure serves as a space for environmental dialogue and community engagement. Referencing both Irish cottages and classical forums, the project symbolises a full-circle return to nature—constructed from earth and designed to eventually return to it.
