Ireland's architectural community gathers tonight at the Building and Architect of the Year Awards 2026, and the anticipation has rarely felt this sharp. From Rising Star in Architecture to Building of the Year across Office, Tourism and Hospitality, Public, and Educational categories, the finalists have delivered work that reflects the full ambition of contemporary Irish practice. By the end of the evening, the sector will have its answers.

The ceremony begins at 18.30 sharp on Thursday, 23rd April 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry, with black-tie dress code in effect for the evening. Guests with special dietary requirements are asked to notify the organisers as soon as possible so that arrangements can be made in advance.

Beyond the awards themselves, tonight offers one of the sector's finest networking opportunities, bringing together Ireland's leading architects, designers, developers, and built environment professionals under one roof. It is an evening to celebrate achievement, forge new connections, and reflect on the work shaping Ireland's built environment in 2026. The winners will be announced before the night is out.
